Susan is an effective mediator both with counsel in attendance as well as meeting with the participants alone. She has successfully mediated family matters involving complex property, support and parenting issues. Susan approaches each mediation as a new opportunity to facilitate a resolution that is unique to the participants and their circumstances.
Elizabeth Hyde
B.Ed., LL.B., Accredited Family Mediator
Following 4 years as an educator in the public school system in Toronto, Elizabeth spent seven years as a family law practitioner. Her practice dealt with all aspects of family law including marriage contracts, separation, divorce, custody and access. Elizabeth then spent ten years as senior management in a large national law firm as the Director of Professional Development. Now an Accredited Family Mediator, Elizabeth is using her diverse background to focus her mediation practice on family disputes including divorce, separation, marriage and co-habitation agreements, parenting and elder care issues.
Christine Kim
M.S.W., Accredited Family Mediator, CPMed
Christine Kim joins the team as a new parenting mediator and P.C. Christine has over twenty years experience working in the Social Work field. Christine has been a bit of a professional chameleon, working with diverse groups, ranging from street kids to seniors, both locally and globally. Christine graduated from the University of Toronto, receiving her Master of Social Work in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Collaborative Program in Ethnic-Pluralism. She is an Accredited Family Mediator with the Ontario Association of Family Mediation, and is a Child Protection Mediator on the Ontario roster.
