Susan’s interest in alternative dispute resolution started in her first year in law school when she enrolled in her first alternative dispute resolution course. While practicing family law, Susan became aware of the emotional and financial cost incurred by a family involved in the traditional litigation setting. She became of the view that for most families there are better alternatives to meet their needs. Since then she has continued her interest and education focusing on alternative dispute resolution and family mediation.
