Description
Provides the 14 hours of study required by Ontario’s Attorney General under the Arbitration Act, and covers:
Types of domestic violence and how (and why) to differentiate
Sources of power imbalances
How to “screen” and various “screening tools”
Impact of domestic violence on children
Different purposes of screening in mediation and arbitration
Recommended “screening reports”
How to structure the process where concerns are identified
How to safely terminate a process
