Description Provides the 14 hours of study required by Ontario’s Attorney General under the Arbitration Act, and covers:

  • Types of domestic violence and how (and why) to differentiate
  • Sources of power imbalances
  • How to “screen” and various “screening tools”
  • Impact of domestic violence on children
  • Different purposes of screening in mediation and arbitration
  • Recommended “screening reports”
  • How to structure the process where concerns are identified
  • How to safely terminate a process
