Mediating Internationally

Using Skype, e-mail, and even the old-fashioned telephone, we work with people to resolve conflicts across borders. From holiday schedules to child abduction cases, such work often requires the mediator to understand the importance of cultural differences; Read Christine’s blog here.

We continue our work in the field of mediating child abduction cases. Stay tuned for more news from this emerging field, and read our Featured Guest Article by Phyllis Brodkin on child abduction law.

Hilary recently went to Portugal to share family mediation experience with Lisbon’s mediation community. She spoke about the history of family mediation in Canada and learned a lot in return. Read her blog here. View her presentation here.

Our intern Joel Skapinker travelled to Chile and came back with comparative family mediation experience. Read more here.
