Avagene is an experienced Dispute Resolution Officer in the Ontario Superior Court and provides mediation services through the Toronto family court system. She is the principal lawyer at Skervin Law, a family law firm in Mississauga, Ontario.
She contributes to the family law field through teaching, training, and professional leadership, including serving on boards such as the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario, presenting at conferences, and training new mediators through Riverdale Mediation Ltd.’s and York University’s School of Continuing Studies mediation programs.
