Avagene is an experienced mediator-arbitrator, working to help resolve all issues on separation.
Avagene cares about the children who are affected by their parents’ conflicts. She is an effective child interviewer, and prepares Non-Evaluative Reports on the child’s voice for her own files, for other mediators, arbitrators and parenting coordinators, and for court.
Fluently bilingual in French and English, Avagene offers her expertise both here at Riverdale, and also in Toronto’s family courts.
Outside of her dispute resolution work, Avagene manages her law firm Skervin Law, serves as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the courts and has served on various boards, including the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario. She speaks in webinars and at conferences, including the Chartered Business Valuators Institute.
