Borzou is a family lawyer and experienced family mediator. He has worked for many years as a court-based mediator with families in the Toronto family courts, gaining valuable experience with challenging cases. He also has a growing parenting coordination practice.
In his law practice, Borzou handles all range of family law matters with an emphasis on negotiation and settlement.
Borzou has an undergraduate degree in psychology and he studied law at Osgoode Hall Law School.
Fluent in English and Farsi, Borzou brings a warm and tenacious approach to his work as a family dispute resolution professional. He knows from experience that good-faith negotiation and interest-based bargaining can often save families thousands of dollars in legal fees, allow relationships to be mended and achieve lasting results.
With his extensive family law experience, Borzou is also a skilled adjudicator, as an arbitrator and parenting coordinator, when the conflict demands that a decision be made.
Borzou is a lecturer in the Riverdale Mediation training program and a mediation coach for the York University Certificate in Family Mediation program.
