The Latest on “Screening” in Family Mediation & Arbitration Sept. 20

2006_0806July-Aug060187One of our areas of expertise is in helping family lawyers and their clients identify, assess and know how to manage power imbalances, including violence, in family law cases.

We teach many courses on the subject, and work every day with mediators and lawyers in and out of court. We also are often retained to provide private training to litigators, arbitrators, collaborative lawyers, judges and paralegals on this important pre-mediation, pre-arbitration and pre-negotiation procedure.

On September 20 we are offering a five hour update on the latest case law, procedures and best practices in screening in family law cases. Our speaker, Hilary Linton, has taught lawyers, judges, arbitrators and mediators across Canada, the US and in the UK.

This workshop provides CPD hours, and meets the 5 hour training requirement for accredited mediators and family arbitrators.

It is recommended that you have already taken a 14 hour workshop in screening processes and tools before attending this course. For information on our next 14 hour course, click here.
